The requirements for eligibility include a GPA of a minimum of 3.0, at least sophomore status at the time of the trip, and a major within business, economics, global studies/international relations, human rights, humanities, or the social sciences.

The program runs from May 27-July 20, 2018.

The program cost will be $7397, with an additional out-of-pocket estimate of $1910, which includes airfare, food, local transportation, the application fee and the cost of a new passport (if applicable). There are several scholarships available to students as well, all through the University of Connecticut. We provide students with this information via the program brochure and during advising.

Application deadline is February 27. The students will be notified within a week of this date about their acceptance and will have a week to “commit” to the program. This means they are responsible for all of the finances related to the program and acknowledge this by electronically signing a contract and some other student paperwork related to policies and procedures.
