Solidarity and support of our colleagues (both near and far) have been crucial to many of us as our universities faced the challenges of the past year. Following the success of two 'Open House' events last autumn, we would like to invite Senior Academic Developers to participate again on the 24th and/or 25th June.
The online U21 Open House setting is designed to allow you the space to meet your U21 peers in similar leadership roles in a relatively informal online setting, to share experiences, challenges and solutions.
U21 recently launched U21 Community - the network's new virtual connection and collaboration platform. We can take a closer look at the platform when we come together in June and explore the opportunities that the Community might offer the group to meet, share and collaborate on an ongoing basis. We also thought that it would be interesting to discuss how our roles and responsibilities have changed over the past year and to consider how academic development will contribute to evolving educational practice at our institutions during what is likely to be a period of rapid and significant change.
To facilitate different time zones of U21 members, we have set up two meetings, taking place on Thursday 24 June and into Friday 25 June. See below for the exact meeting time in your location and to sign up to one or both the sessions to suit your diary.
