Building an Ecosystem of Innovation & Enterprise

The university’s role as a powerful enabler of innovation and enterprise is crucial in creating new opportunities and advancing communities. The dynamic ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship that NUS has built provides our budding entrepreneurs with essential support and sets them up for success. While strong government support for research has been critical in fostering innovation, NUS also supports the growth and development of this ecosystem by offering a full suite of entrepreneurship support services. This ranges from mentorship and accelerator programmes to funding and global networking opportunities. This ecosystem and our immersive entrepreneurship education allow us to cultivate fortitude, entrepreneurial innovation and venturesomeness in our students. Discover what we learnt in building NUS’ ecosystem for innovation and enterprise.

 Tour: NUS’ green infrastructure projects

NUS is committed to pursuing sustainability in its education, research, innovation and enterprise, operating practices, partnerships and engagement. Among these initiatives are the application of sustainability principles to the master planning, design and construction, upgrading, operations and maintenance of our buildings and campuses. Visit the NUS School of Design & Environment precinct where buildings from the 1970s have undergone low-carbon adaptive reuse and retrofitting to become net-zero energy and learn about our efforts in greening our campus.
