As part of next year's U21 AGM at the University of Maryland, we are asking members to consider submitting case studies for inclusion in the U21 Presidential Symposium (Thursday, May 2, 2019). The theme of this year's Symposium is Globalization, Isolationism and the Civic Response in Higher Education.
U21 and the University of Maryland plan to showcase up to four case studies from U21 universities, which demonstrate initiatives in these institutions that illustrate institution-wide civic engagement in line with the topic. Such initiatives could be part of an international and multi-sectoral partnership, and/or ones that address a global challenge in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
