U21 was formally represented at the UN Climate Change Summit in September 2019. U21's Trudie McGuinness, U21's Director of Strategy, Planning & Operations attended two days of Coalition Meetings on behalf of the network, which included the Youth Climate Summit and a talk from Professor Jeffery Sachs.
U21 has Consultative Status with the Economic & Social Affairs Council (ECOSOC). U21 wants to encourage members to engage further with ECOSOC and Trudie will explore the benefits for members of our UN consultative status with Senior Leaders in Auckland later this month.
