U21/PwC Innovation Challenge

Competition now open!

We are pleased to announce the opening of the 2021 U21/PwC Innovation Challenge. Now in it’s third year, the competition supports and prepares U21 graduate students for the world of work by allowing them to consider and respond to real global challenges. The competition is overseen by experts from PwC and judged by partners from their client companies.

The 2021 challenge looks to address the widening skills gap within the global workforce which has been amplified by the Covid-19 pandemic. Students have been asked to suggest an initiative that can be undertaken by governments, businesses or education providers to close this gap and mitigate the risk of greater inequality in the workplace.

By taking part, students obtain exposure to global employment opportunities, showcasing their knowledge, skills and talents to potential employers, whilst developing critical thinking, presentation and communications skills.

The 2020 competition attracted some exceptional entries from students at our member universities, and we are looking forward to another successful competition this year.
