Celebrating Excellence: 2025 U21 Award Winners Announced at U21 Annual Network Meeting at UC Davis, California

8 May 2025

We are delighted to share that the U21 Award and U21 Leaders of the Future Award winners were announced as part of our Annual Network Meeting at the University of California, Davis on Wednesday 7 May 2025.

The U21 Awards are an annual staff recognition scheme to celebrate impactful contributions to internationalisation. This year, we proudly introduced two new categories – Climate Action and Inclusive Global Engagement to recognise bold leadership and innovation in these key areas.

The U21 Leaders of the Future Awards are an annual award to recognise the achievements of either current students or recent alumni at U21 member universities who show great potential for  impact in internationalisation.

This year, we received a record-breaking number of high-quality nominations, making the competition extremely fierce. Following a shortlisting and judging process led by a panel of senior U21 stakeholders, we are thrilled to confirm the winners for both the U21 Awards and Leaders of the Future Awards.
