The Gilbert Medal Prize

The Gilbert Medal, awarded from 2012 to 2020, recognized significant contributions to the internationalization of higher education. Established by Universitas 21 and named after its founder, Professor Alan Gilbert who died in July 2010, the award aimed to honour those who advanced internationalization efforts. Nominations were accepted from faculty, staff, and students within the U21 network.
