Researcher Engagement Manager
Connie is responsible for Researcher Engagement administration, developing a programme of activities to enable researchers, at all levels, to engage with the U21 network. She has extensive experience of cultural programme development; identifying research opportunities and forging effective working partnerships with regional HEIs, practitioners and cultural organisations. A researcher and art historian, Connie graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2012; her PhD covered themes including nineteenth-century landscape painting and Birmingham artists and art education during the period. As a curator, she has written and edited publications focusing on Pop Art and managed a number of international research collaborations and touring exhibitions. She is continuing her research as an Honorary Research Fellow with University of Birmingham's School of History and Cultures.
