Health Sciences Group

The U21 Health Sciences Group was established in 2000 to provide Faculty within U21 member universities a framework for exploring opportunities for collaborative projects, information exchange and sharing of resources in the area of Health Sciences.

Since then the group has grown to include membership from 17 institutions across the U21 network.

Health Sciences Group

The mission of the group is ‘to enhance individual and collective contributions by leadership to health sciences education and research and to social transformation through sharing of experiences and resources, and through collaborative interdisciplinary projects’.

Each year, the group comes together for its Annual Meeting to share ideas and hear about the latest updates on collaborative projects. Our current projects, with a strong focus on global health issues, include the UN SDG Initiative project, and the Gender Based Violence project.
